A visit to NSW

My wife and I are visiting family near Sydney, we are staying the 1st couple of nights near Camden.

After checking in to the motel, a quick scan of the NPL web site for a game in the area, a game is listed at the Camben Sports Club reg is 6.15 game starts at 7.15.

We arrive there at 6 and order dinner from the bistro the meal was very good value, Cheryle had a Chinken Snitty Sub which was actually a turkish roll with the snitty cheese and salad for 9 bucks I had a scotch fillet which was tonights special @ 12 bucks.

As for NPL at Camden it's very 2nd rate reg started at 7ish and the game eventually started around 7.45 with about 14 players with late comers we made it to 24. Each player starts with 2500, and during the 1st blind level the TD gave each player an extra 1000. there are no passports used. The players at my tablen were extremely loose, in fact I think then all to be loose as were down to 12 players during the 100/200 blind level, I busted out with the blinds at 200/400, I committed my remaining chips 1725 preflop hoping to steal some blind or v one player, there were 3 callers, my A(h) K(h) ws crushed by the buttons 2/3 off.

Overall it was a poorly run event and if this is the standard NPL is bringing to SA there product will not last long in the market place.

This is the exact reason I say there is such a thing as loyalty to a Poker provider....

(I bet even if you won it, you probably wouldn't go back)....
