yeah he obviously made a mistake preflop. but once he leads out on the flop with top pair, he can't really fold.

He had 10125 before the flop and only put in 700 which is only 14% of his chip stack, but seriously what am I shoving with here, after someone has bet 2800 into a 2800 pot, like I am c-betting with Ace-high into a 4 way pot, I have to be playing big pockets, that being said I don't see any way he can think he is in front and he is obviously calling to try and get lucky which he did, but at the end of the day you want people in those positions as you will win most times. Oh well all I can do is calm back down and move on to the next hand. I do agree though their doesn't seem to be any good way to play Pocket Jacks.

Eddy, I feel your pain, it is just bad luck. You did all you could to get him off the hand. Even if he hasn't got you on bigger pockets, then at least an A8 or K8 at the bare minimum surely...
Pocket Jacks, I'm at the stage where when I look at my first card and its a Jack, I get this shudder down my spine and say to myself.....please don't give me another one, don't give me another one...
Stupid game..... Never playing again

villain doesn't lead the flop, hero does.

villain is UTG+1, hero UTG

am I missing something, but its reading in the analysis that hero is pushing over villain, but that isn't what happened.

edit it into a spoiler - its still valid reasoning, just not for this situation :D
