Between Flights

I thought you'd played since teh start Peter! ie, start of NPL.
The first year and a half was mostly flights.

But I can that if you weren't used to it, it would seem different.

I only started playing sometime last year. So I missed the heady glory days of the start.

I was just asking about this as someone else asked me.

It's no biggy. It's not like I'm demanding to be entertained. I'm sure there's loads of things to do.

Sorry you thought it an "Absolute tool post" Garth.

Even though it wasn't offensive I didn't think it would be subjected to total censorship. I have made a note that humour is not permitted in forum posts.

I was merely opening up the floor for discussion or information from 888PL Admin regarding something to do whilst we wait 5.5 hours (provided one is still in). A topic which one would have expected Admin to have considered already.

BTW do you think that "Absolute tool post" was the least offensive way of noting the deletion? Thanks for the kick in the shins.

Sorry Pete, but it was offensive, misleading and tarnished our brand. If you must know, a staff member at the Ark pointed it out to management who in turn called me.

Please make a note that YOUR particular type of "non offensive" humor is not welcome on this forum, everyone else is free to share their jokes and what not, in the lounge or other areas. Or even in the general poker chat area. Just be sure not to mix 888PL or our clients in the same sentence.

There are plenty of other ways you could have raised this issue in a cordial manner without the use of the word hooker or fictitious claims as to what entertainment the Arkaba or 888PL was going to offer players.

Yes it has been considered, and yes we do have plans.

And as to "absolute tool post" I call them as I see them, and in terms of the spectrum of offensive titles that I could use for the reason for deletion; this was at the lower end of the spectrum.

I could do much worse than just delete the post and title it as that Pete, the fact is - it was not a well thought out post, it was a weak attempt at humor and should not have involved 888PL or any discussion in regards to Semi Finals; so accept the slap on the wrist, acknowledge the wrong doing and perhaps in hindsight you could have opened this topic differently and be thankful that you didn't receive a phone call directly from me with harsher repercussions.

Look on it and create positive If your in the first flight and you are still in the field at the end of the session, you have a number of hours to relax and refocus, it could be considered an advantage to have a refeshing break.

But focus on the tournment as it is presentated.

Ahhhhh.... grass hopper gets it now. You are quite correct. My apologies if I caused any issue with the Ark management.
