i got knocked out 15 min before the end of the second flight.

picked up QTss and shoved for 37k at the 1500/3000/300, in the sb, BB tanks and calls with 77 and it bricks. would have been top 10 easily if i won the flip.

oh well, you need to win those to win a tourney i guess

I was out a few minutes before benny the cunt att he end of the 1k/2k/200 level.

In MP i get dealt [ad][as], and make it 5k to go (my stack was 15.5k - passive table, lots of shoves getting through, hence my reasons for not shoveing pre) and i get called by button and BB (pot approx 17k).

Flop [9c][tc][2h]

BB checks, i ship it in for my last 10.5k, and button goes into the tank for like 4 minutes, finally calling the 10.5k and leaving himself about 6k left. BB folds.

Button rolls [kc][js]

Turn [jh]

River [jd]

And im out. If i win that 37k stack i make the recombine and have a decent shot of a deep run. Its probably the most pissed off i have been after a tourney. I mean, i should be happy to get my money in as such a big favourite, but still this one really got to me for some reason. Oh well, there is always next season.

I hit the rail during the 700/1400 blind level, I'm UTG +2 when I see the 1st pocket pair for the day 9's.

my decision process had me thinking with just over 11k, do I flat call, 3 bet or shove, flat call is not an option, if I 3 bet it would cost over 1/3rd of my stack and possible get multiple callers, a shove would limit me to 1 caller or pickup the ante's and blinds.

I shove, mid position tanks for sometime before folding (He annonced he had pocket jacks at the end of the hand), the player to his right tanks for a short time and shoves over the top with 30k + thus clearing the decks for heads up.

He turns over pocket K's and the flop is 10 Q 8 giving me a gutshot draw the turn is a 6 and the river another Q, I'm off to the rail

Question: Placed in the same situation what would you have done?

Oh well the day was not a total failure, my Demons beat the Crows sending them to 3/0 for the season.

There were some amazing calls there last night.

One that comes to mind was very early in the tourney. UTG raised 10xBB and got 2 callers. Could only get rid of one villain after betting hard at a trash flop and turn. Our hero has to check/fold a board pairing river which was obviously very painful. Just to rub salt into the already gaping wound the villain shows his [8s][6s] (booking the trash board) with the good old saying "but they are suited".Our hero was seen 2 minutes later pacing up and down Glen Osmond Rd screaming at passing cars.
