Yessir. Krunchie check.shoved that flop (had the other guy covered by a lot though), but ran J J to take that pot down, as well as the tourney.
Riskers gamble, experts calculate.

A drink (or three :D) will suffice sir :P

No cheating, figured it had the be the worst hand, running flush seemed to obv. Q, T happens every day of the week, so I went with the most obscure one.

A day by the river at Gol Gol, the 1st 888pl Sun River Poker Championships attraced over 280 qualifing players from northern Victoria, the Riverland and Broken Hill.

As play commenced each player having a starting stack of 15,000 with a relaxed blind structure and no ante's, my day was frustrating getting good starting hands like KQ, KJ, QJ etc etc making aggressive preflop raises and getting callers and totally missing the flop, I was successful bluffing with continuation bets a number of times but often had to lay them down after good bets by other players.

As for big pockets never seen many, I had AA and didnt get a chance to even make a preflop bet all folded to me no value at all, best result of the 1st session last hand brfore the break, I'm on the button and have a little over 6k and I have [kc] [9c] there are a number of callers my turn I flat call along with the SB and BB checks, the flop is [9d] [9s] [10d] eveyone check to me I also check thinking if i bet I everyone would fold, the turn [qc], the BB bet 1k all fold to MP, MP raises to 2k my turn I jam the remainder of my stack seeing the BB fold, MP go's intro the tank for a couple of minutes, his body image was telling me he was folding but he called showing [qd] [8d]
the river was no help to either of us, I win with trip 9's.

My day ended when I shoved with my pocket 8's after a flop 5 7 6, 1 caller showing A Q which hit an A on the turn and improved his hand to a flush on the river.

The Gol Gol Hotel done a terrific job hosting the event bar prices are reasonable and meal prices were excellent with a number of choices under 10 bucks.

Congratulations to all those in making this event come alive let hope it will become an annual event.

******WELL DONE*****
42.7 percent of all statistics are made up on the spot.
