Knife or Bat?

Postby AceLosesKing » Thu Apr 29, 2010 4:42 pm

Interesting thread I came across on 2+2 the other day.

There are two fighters, matched equally in size, speed, strength. There are no advantages to either man. A fight to the death is organised.

Knife or (baseball) bat?

knife

although a bat has a longer reach, you only really need to connect once with a knife.

It would depend where, if I can hit you twice with the bat in the head I'd say that's game over.

I say bat as you can knock the knife out of his hand and then bam.

bat. much better as a defensive weapon compared to a knife i.e. you can block a knife attack easier too. Much easier to disarm your opponent with a bat than a knife.

yeah, but lets say you lunged for the guy and he wacked you with a bat. if you get your arm up to defend, it might break your arm, but if you stab the guy at the same time, he will be much worse off.

so i reckon kamikaze with the knife and finish the fight before it starts :D
