I was just saying it is an aspect that does favour the knife a bit imho (in terms of a throwing weapon), that had been overlooked so far in discussing its utility in a fight.

What if the bat in question had been previously been trained to bite an opponent on the neck? Surely a good idea to throw/release it at your attacker??

True, his sentence structure is a little off.

"In fact, I love to have a bat"

Would have been a better way of putting it.
