The day seemed pretty smoothly ran in my opinion.

I think 888pl excel at this.

Harps666 has a point a a lack of side games. Plenty of room to set up sit and go's etc.

The rebuy wasn't great - but not from an organisational POV - the 1000 start stack was a bit wild tho.

More side games tho - definatley a plus!!

I thought the $10 rebuy event prizepool was great, paid i guess to 9% of the field, and the entire final table got grand final tickets, for a $10 buy in thats pretty tops imo
but then again i may be biast because i finished 2nd ;)

How much did you spend?

At my table 7 of 8 of us auto-bought the extra 1000 at the start.

6 of 8 tripled added on too!

$50 would be the average entry fee.

Well done on your 2nd. You must be good at winning flips!

I agree the day was ran very smoothly. I am glad we were on different levels rather than the heats as the heats used to be a nightmare for me. My husband used to qualify via state leaderboard and was in one heat and I used to qualify via venue leaderboard and would always end up in the other. I was moved 5 times on sunday and it all went smoothly.

With the side games I think we have become spoilt with these and have grown to love them. I really loved the pairs event and the teams event seemed to be very popular. I have really enjoyed being spoilt for choice with so many different games on offer. Loved the high rollers last season and hopefully I can make it down to it this weekend.

Good news on the side events.

Next Semi Finals we will have the venue for the full 2 days. We are still in the planning stage of what to do with the second day, but it will be full of interesting events.

The teams event will have to be there, the Partners event also seems like a great idea. I will start another thread shortly asking for suggestions.

G'day Michael ,

As i said to you on Sunday i had fun but, the list of qualifiers was way too big .
Lack of other side games was a disapointment , the seats are very bad ( The person who's chair broke was next to my table ,it broke as soon as he sat down ,was taken straight away " after the speach " & he did not get another for 20 minutes.)

suppose just wingeing about nothing .

cheers Harps

Paul

No where did i say anything about anyone coming late !
I do not appreciate your sarcasm .
if you did read my post i said the " T.D /T.C,s " did a GREAT job

Hi Harps.

Was this the seat near the door? We replaced that seat during Paul speech.

Paul was actually responding to Gizmo about the player coming late.

I will definitely take on board everyone’s feelings about the rebuy event, but being that this is one of the few times that all regions can get together and play a Grand Final Rebuy event I think it may stay for next season. But we will attempt to run more than that one event.

Gizmo, we did have a small announcement on the website at the end of the season, and we will ensure if this happens again we will make sure that there is adequate notice.

G'day Michael ,
No i was on table 22 & he was on the next table in near the middle .

& Paul edited his response to me in which he mentioned something about late comers before Giz even posted .

regards Harps

p.s would love to see the return of the teams event
