i remember having a conversation about big hands, saying that the biggest ive had is a straight flush to the Queen, to which a very good and respected player and forumer replied:

"so you've never had a big hand like quads before"

Lolz.

Had like 6 or 7 Royals, all online, 1 live Omaha.

Never had a Royal either.

I used to have a habit of calling huge pre-flop raises with suited pictures, now I just wait.

Patiently wait.

Someone had a royal last night at the Kingsford, although it didn't really count.

Blinds 500/1k, folds to SB who limps with 3k behind, BB with 9k or so behind checks his option.

Flop Ks Qs x. SB check folds to BB's 1k bet.

BB rolls AJss, we run it, 10s turn.

I have never had a royal in texas hold em either. I have had one in Omaha a long time ago. I was discussing this with a friend recently and I am not sure if the fact that I bet hard on big draws and usually get no callers has attributed to this but if I have the chance to take down an already decent pot without hitting then I am happy to take this option. The friend advised he had never had a royal either and then went on to hit 2 in the same night on different tables in a cash game. What are the odds of this?

I had quad aces at the Casino, that was nice - especially when I bet into a dry side pot with them, and was chastised, until the cards were rolled over :D

I had a royal online on FT, but unfortunately it was just a 300 chip, 200FTP buy in game - what a waste!

Actually, at a home game a month or two back, we had a hand that COULD'VE been big.

There was an all in, followed by an all in....

Last guy to act had KQ of hearts. Folded.

This is how the board ran...
