Think you will find they don't know who Garth is. But they only have kind words for Carlos.

:-) Hehehehe.

It would be like name dropping, until you realise the persons name you dropped they have no idea.

Think of going over to the U.S and saying your best mates with Brook Satchwell (one of the good things to be in neighbours). They will look at you funny. Same with PNW. :-) Most people don't even know who is who. :-)

Yes i get the good posts. because i procrastinate way too much. :-)

Brett.

Dave to use this forum to discuss your views on a certain player and what you would do to him is in fact no better than his altercation up at the kingsford, and i believe that npl should look at that statement a little more seriously. As for my home game well if anyone had a problem on the night, that should have been raise with either myself or lincoln who was running the show.I have spoken to several people that were there and noone had any complaints during the night.During the welcome speech i pointed out that anyone would be asked to leave if they started any trouble and i didn`t care who that was my house my rules!Yes you were invited and you chose not to attend ,but you told me that the night i invited you.As for just a sten glare from garth, well i`m pretty sure they were out the front talking to each other on the night. If npl had a problem with enzo attending they didn`t say and they knew that i was inviting him,npl did give me a list of who i couldn`t invite.I regard enzo as a very good friend and i don`t have a problem with yourself or the person/s who have informed you of the night after all i invited you(3) But what really disappionts me is you chose to use this forum rather than speak to me in person i will try to make it to pooraka this week, but in the mean time i think you owe several people an apolegy. Not to sound disrespectful to all those that have worked hard for this forum but now i think it`s time to scrap this as it has become nothing more than a place to have a whinge about something/anything maybe npl should add a section to they home page that just keeps players informed about there venues and whats going on

Chris i think you jumped on the wrong horse mate.
Read my post again.
It regarded the suspended player being arrogant towards another player which could have got out of hand if the other player wanted to take it further but chose to ignore the suspended player instead showing respect to yourself and the NPL
Yes you did invite me and i thank you for that and even though i had originally declined i changed my mind and was gonna attend until illness hit
The stern glare was not from Garth.
Never did i say your home game had any problems in fact i was quoted and i did quote it was a fantastic night i regrettfully missed
What you read into OLD FASHIONED MANNERS thats up to you
My reply never showed any disrespect to yourself or the NPL. So do not take it personally
Look forward to catching up for a beer and a chat

WSOP-C Prelim Event's Chip Leader Disqualified for Bad Behavior
March 08, 2008
Amy Calistri
It's not unusual for a player to be eliminated at a final table, nor, unfortunately, is it unusual for a player to display unsportsmanlike behavior. It is, however, unusual for a player to be ousted from the final table for bad conduct, but that is what happened at the first of several preliminary WSOP Circuit events at Caesars Atlantic City. In what Nolan Dalla, WSOP Media Director, called one of the "oddest and awkward moments in tournament history," chip leader Lesley S. Thornburg was disqualified in fifth place for unruly behavior.

According to reports, the boisterous Thornburg had received two warnings for unsportsmanlike conduct during the previous day's play. Thornburg started the final table second in chips and began what was described as an hours-long and "ceaseless display of loud comments and baiting tactics." Thornburg was able to gain an appreciable lead when his A-7 bested an A-Q and his pocket fours took out pocket sevens. Thornburg received a number of warnings at the final table, primarily associated with his apparent unwillingness to stack his chips and a penchant by randomly and recklessly shoving chips into the pot. Unable to deter Thornburg's behavior with warnings, the tournament director finally disqualified him and removed his chips from play. Thornburg's disqualification netted him a fifth-place finish. 76-year-old retiree Frank Panetta went on to win the $300 NLHE event.

Good to see that it is being cracked down on in other events.

Good to see someone who can stand up to players. Regardless of the titles associated with the event.

How many warnings does a player need? He got 2 the day before, and numerous at the final table. He didn't improve. the TD obviously followed through with his decision.

In my opinion, there are a lot of players out there, that think these kinds of antics are ok. A lot of people have forgotten that in poker, respect is given not gained through play.

How you respect the game is how people will respect you.

Was my post in response to it on another forum.

Brett.
