Hi Garth,

I know you have successfully withdrawn from 888. I am trying to figure out the SWIFT/BIC code for Melbourne. I have found:
CTBAAU2S3FX

Is that what you are using?

Cheers.

SWIFT codes are unique for each bank. Best to call yours and ask them.

Taken from: http://www.commbank.com.au/personal/you ... -overseas/

* SWIFT payment to:CTBAAU2S

Include the following details:

* Bank: Commonwealth Bank of Australia
* Branch: Branch where you opened your account
* Bank/State/Branch Code: Ask for this from the Branch where you opened your account
* Account Number: This will be given to you when you open your account
* Beneficiary Name: Your name

Looked this up when a few places were asking for it to withdraw, google is your friend :lol:

Hi Garth, not sure if your the man to address this to . ( but hey you are the man ;) ) just a quick comment on the main event online. For me being silly as i was didnt think it would run as long as it did and i ran deep but as it hit 3am i had enough due to having to work 12hrs the next day with a early start.
i understand these late finishes on weekends are not a problem for everyone.But would like to see if thats something that may be addressed in future as a earlier finish may also create some more runners.
for me to go on and win at 7am was unrealistic and would of liked a fair crack it.
plus one more thing i noticed there is no hand for hand feature on 888 when bubbling for the money. is there any reason for this as it happens in live events and on every other poker site i play on.
sorry to ramble just thought i would ask, and sont get me wrong i loved the event
cheers chris

dont have many opitons to fix it

option 1- smaller stacks and faster blinds ( to me this goes agains the very idea of this event)

option 2- starting the event in the moring say 10 am so getting a 10pm finish- the problem here is not everyone can sacrafice an entire day to poker because of work or sport.

events like this are never going to suit everyone.
Does anyone know how to make money playing uno vs 6 year olds, its about the only card game i get to play these days.

I do agree with the hand for hand once we are on money bubble though it should be hand for hand. It is probably a pacific poker thing though and not something that 888pl have any control over.

In every advertisement for the game you were warned that it was a true deepstack event and it would take a long time to complete

Then it is up to you to make a decision as to whether you could play it

dont get me wrong i do understand this . just thought i would throw it out there that maybe a earlier start could be looked at even if it was 3pm or so then you finish at 3am instead or drop the blinds to 25min or so just throwing it out there for food for thought. i did say i loved the event .
cheers
