Hi there Garth. I just thought I'd give you my views on the new Home Games.
First of all I completely forgot about the new games and rebooted my lappy when I couldn't see the regular games, LOL. I was trying to register for the AK rebuy and then go and do some shopping.
Then, I realised the new games were there and the most noticable thing was the lack of numbers. The $2.20 game had 25 runners the other two games the $4.40 and the $5.50 only had 8 players in each of them!
I know it's only the first day but I was really expecting a good turn out like b4 where the early games had anything from 40 to 80 or more runners and the AK topped out with 150.
I couldn't see anything that was going to suit my purpose I.E. register and then go and do some shopping and play when get back so I dropped in on one of the $2.20 tables to how they were going.
When I asked how the new system was being received the points value for 25 runners was obviously a topic as someone said it only gained a multiple of X 1 and the other 2 games seemed to have almost the same group playing in both games.
As I said it's only day one but for me the AK and Murrin suited my game and my account. The points value and the prize pool plus a 150 player cap and the fact that I could register and do something before the start was a bonus for me.
People like myself are home most days and nights and are a little bit cash strapped. I/We still play the Away games as a requirement to qualify. But I guess we also enjoy the comfort of our homes and the chance to play poker with friends and also gain points for State Finals and maybe win a GF seat too.
Obviously, I'll need to re-evaluate where my Home Game and interests will be for the coming season and pick games that will give me the best chance of gaining points to qualify for the above.
On a plus side the games today were over and done with fairly fast like minni turbos which would suit some players.
Whoohoo!!!! Just found the Murrin 55 center. Viva the Murrin rebuy, LOL.
I hope this in some way is a help to you as I haven't seen any other reports as yet.

yeah saw that. although i remember garth saying that only the main and feature daily events would actually have a guarantee. so its probably the lobby message that needs changing.
would be great if it did have a guarantee though - would encourage lots more people to take a shot at PLO.
