i play NPL because i wanna have FUN, as poker is bloody fun to play.
secondly, i wanna improve my game. i would consider myself at a level where i am fairly experienced at poker, but nowhere near good enough to play at the casino regularly, nor do i have the bankroll to do so.
by playing NPL, i would like to improve to the stage where i could maybe go into the cas and hold my own on a regualr basis, not just when i am on the piss and lose all my dough because of this.
thirdly, how many times would a player of average skill such as myself be able to have the chance at playing in a 700 player, live, tourney without risking more money than my skill level suggests i should?
dug, if you seriously reckon your money will be better spent at he casino, then go there. i dont have the money for that.
btw, you dont have to spend money on stamps. or, if you feel like u have to spend a lot to get those stamps, switch venue. its well known that us out here in the B&G play poker for peanuts, so it might be worth the petrol to make the trip out here.
